- CATEGORY-II STIPENDIARY TRAINEES

Trade wise vacancies:
- Plant Operator/ Health Physics Assistant (HP): 32 posts (UR-12, OBC-11, SC-09)
- Laboratory Assistant: 06 posts (UR-04, OBC-01, PWD-01)
- Fitter: 24 posts (UR-13, OBC-08, SC-03)
- Welder: 01 post (UR-01)
- Turner: 02 posts (UR-02)
- Electrician: 12 posts (UR-07, OBC-02, SC-03)
- Instrument Mechanic: 05 posts (UR-03, SC-01, OBC-01)
- Electronic Mechanic: 02 posts (UR-01, OBC-01)
- Machinist: 02 posts (UR-02)
Educational Qualification:
(i) For Plant Operator/ Health Physics Assistant (HP): HSC in Science stream (with Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects) with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
(ii) For Laboratory Assistant: HSC in Science stream (with Physics, Chemistry and Math’s subjects) with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate. OR SSC (with Science and Math’s) with a minimum 60 % marks in aggregate PLUS trade certificate in Laboratory Assistant.
Candidates should have any of the following requirements as regards Trade Certificate:
(i) NTC (ITI pass out) of two years duration. OR
(ii) NAC of two years duration under Apprenticeship Training Scheme. OR
(iii) NTC (ITI pass out) of one year duration plus one year work experience after the completion of course. OR
(iv) NTC (ITI pass out) of one-year duration plus NAC of minimum one year duration under Apprenticeship Training Scheme.
3. For Fitter/Welder/Turner/ Electrician/ Instrument Mechanic and Electronic Mechanic: SSC (with Science and Math’s) with a minimum 60 % marks in aggregate PLUS trade certificate in respected field.
Candidates should have any of the following requirements as regards Trade Certificate:
(i) NTC (ITI pass out) of two years duration. OR
(ii) NAC of two years duration under Apprenticeship Training Scheme OR
(iii) NTC (ITI pass out) of one year duration plus one year work experience after the completion of course. OR
(iv) NTC (ITI pass out) of one-year duration plus NAC of minimum one year duration under Apprenticeship Training Scheme.
Note: Selected candidates will be on training period for two years.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 22 years as on 31/01/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.6200/- for 1st year and Rs.7200/- for 2nd year.
- TECHNICIAN/C (BOILER OPERATOR)

Educational Qualification: SSC + I Class Boiler Attendant’s Certificate.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 Years and maximum 25 Years as on 31/01/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.25500/-
- UPPER DIVISION CLERK
No. of Vacancies: 10 Nos. (UR-03, OBC-03, SC-03)
Educational Qualification: Degree (Graduate) in Arts, Science or Commerce or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% marks.
Desirable: Minimum speed of 30 w.p.m in typewriting in English and Knowledge of Computer Application, Data Entry & Data Processing
Age Limit: Minimum 18 Years and maximum 27 Years as on 31/01/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.25500/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards (For Stipendiary Trainees):
(i) Height — 160 cms; Weight — 45.5 Kg
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Preliminary Test, Advanced Test and Trade /Skill Test. Preliminary Test, Advanced Test and Trade /Skill Test will be held at Chennai Centre only.
