Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) — Himachal Pradesh Telecom Circle, Andhra Pradesh Telecom Circle, Tamil Nadu Circle, Kerala Circle, Maharashtra circle, J&K Circle, Rajasthan Circle, Haryana, Gujarat, Assam and Uttarakhand Telecom Circle, is inviting Application form from the eligible candidates for the post of “Telecom Technical Assistant (TTAs)” in the non-executive category. Educational Qualification: Three 3yrs Engineering Diploma in any one of the following discipline – Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics Engg., Electrical Engg., Radio Engg., Computer Engg., Instrumentation/ Instrument Technology and Information Technology.
OR M.Sc (Electronics) from a recognized Institute/ University.

Age Limits: Between 18yrs to 27yrs as on last date of submission of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST- 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman & any other Categories – As per Govt. norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.13600—25420 plus other allowances and grade pay.

Selection will be through a competitive Examination followed by a medical test. Appointment will be subject to police verification, successful completion of training and other usual formalities. Candidates are required to submit application for one SSA only.

Registration with Employment Exchange and Validity: Applicant may be registered with the Employment Exchange of the SSA opted for recruitment.
The registration with the Employment Exchange is preferable and not mandatory. However, in case two or more successful candidates show equal performance in the test and have same qualification, experience, date of birth etc., preference will be given to those candidates who have registered their name in the Employment Exchange of the concerned SSA in which they have applied.

The completed application form should be sent by registered post or handed over personally in the concerned SSA in which applicant wants to apply, so as to reach in the concerned SSA on or before 13.05.2013. 
The envelope containing application form should be marked ‘Application for Direct Recruitment to the Cadre of Telecom Technical Assistant-2012”.
Two self addressed envelopes [23 x11cms size] duly stamped should also be enclosed with the application.

Examination Fee: Rs.500/- in form of Demand Draft drawn in the favour of Account Officer(Cash) O/o Sr.GMTD/GMTD (name of SSA where candidates wish to apply) of the SSA concerned as the case may be.
No Examination Fee is required to SC/ST/PH candidates.

Last Date of Application: The Application form along with enclosures must reach on or before 13th May 2013
