Canara Bank is recruiting 116 Managers (Technical) in discipline of Electrical/Mechanical, Chemical, Logistics, Metallurgy, Structural, Textile, Thermal and Security, in Middle Management Grade Scale-II – Specialist cadre. MANAGER (TECHNICAL), MMG SCALE-II
Total Vacancies: 116 Nos. (Gen—60; SC—16; ST—9; OBC—31). Out of them 3 for PWD candidates.

1. Manager Technical (Electrical / Mechanical) : 75 Nos.
Qualification: BE / B Tech / AMIE in Electrical / Mechanical or Production or Industrial Engineering.
Experience: 3yrs post qualification industrial experience in relevant field of specialization.
2. Manager Technical – Chemical : 4 Nos.
Qualification: ME / M Tech in Chemical Engineering.
Experience: 01 year post-qualification industrial experience in relevant field of specialization.
3. Manager Technical – Logistics : 3 Nos.
Qualification: ME / M Tech in Transportation Engineering.
Experience: 01 year post-qualification industrial experience in relevant field of specialization.
4. Manager Technical – Metallurgy : 3 Nos.
Qualification: ME / M Tech in Metallurgical Engineering.
Experience: 01 year post-qualification industrial experience in relevant field of specialization.
5. Manager Technical – Structural : 3 Nos.
Qualification: ME / M Tech in Structural Engineering.
Experience: 01 year post-qualification industrial experience in relevant field of specialization.
6. Manager Technical – Textile : 3 Nos.
Qualification: ME / M Tech in Textile Engineering.
Experience: 01 year post-qualification industrial experience in relevant field of specialization
7. Manager Technical – Thermal : 4 Nos.
Qualification: ME / M Tech in Thermal Engineering
Experience: 01 year post-qualification industrial experience in relevant field of specialization.
8. Manager – Security MMGS-II Min : 21 Nos.
Qualification: Graduation or any equivalent qualification.
Experience: Ex-Servicemen with prescribed norms (See the advt. file given below)
Preference (for all posts except in Security): Preference will be given to candidates who have additional experience of working in Project Appraisal Groups of PSBs / FIs.
Essential: Candidates shall have proper knowledge of computer operation/application.
Hindi Knowledge: The candidates shall acquire working knowledge of Hindi, if not possessed already, before completion of probationary period
Age Limit: Maximum 35yrs for all posts except for the post of Manager (Security). Age for Manager (Security) is minimum 25yrs and maximum 40yrs. Age will be counted as on 01/01/2014.
Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.19400 — Rs.28100/- plus other allowances as per norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through Online Test which will be Objective type. Successful candidates from online test will be called for Group Discussion and Interview.
The centre & address of the venue, time & date for Group Discussion and/or Interview will be informed to the candidates through Call letter, which can be downloaded in due course from the bank’s website.
Tentative date of Online test is 23/03/2014.
Application Fee: Candidates willing to apply for the vacancies shall pay Application Fee of Rs.500 (for General Candidates/ OBC candidates) and Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Candidates shall deposit the fee through Fee Payment Challan which can be downloaded from the Bank’s website. Fee is to be deposited through any branch of Canara Bank.
Fee can be also paid online by means of Debit/Credit card or NEFT/Net banking during submission of online Application form.
