High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh, Central Recruitment Agency is recruiting 1644 Nos. Stenographer Grade – III and Clerk for the vacancies available in District and Sessions Judges of the various Sessions Divisions of the State of Haryana, Punjab and UT of Chandigarh. Eligible candidates may apply Online. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria in brief is given below—
Vacancies for Subordinate Courts of Haryana
Stenographer Grade—III: 250 Nos.
Clerk: 790 Nos.
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 40yrs.
Vacancies for Subordinate Courts of UT, Chandigarh
Stenographer Grade—III: 4 Nos.
Clerk: Nil
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 30yrs.
Vacancies for Subordinate Courts of Punjab
Stenographer Grade—III: 200 Nos.
Clerk: 400 Nos.
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 37yrs.
Qualification Required:—
For Stenographer Grade—III: Bachelor Degree from recognized University and must have proper knowledge in Computer (MS Office, Etc)
Candidates should have ability to inscribe 80 words per minute in English shorthand and 20 words per minute in transcription of the same on Computer.
For Clerk: Bachelor degree from recognized University. Candidates must have passed Matriculation with Hindi as one of the subject and must have proper knowledge in Computer.
Upper age relaxation : Age will be counted as on 01-01-2012. Upper age relaxation for BC/SC/ST—5yrs.
Only candidates residing in the State where vacancies are available will receive age relaxation. Candidates from other States may apply as general candidates.
Application fee (For any one of the posts): Rs.500 for General category and Rs.125 for SC/ST/BC/OBC/Ex-Serviceman. Cash Deposit Receipt will be generated after Registration Step-I. Candidates should deposit the fee through this receipt from any branch of State Bank of India.
Candidates of other States (Except- Haryana, Punjab and UT of Chandigarh), in spite of reserved categories, may apply as General candidates.
