Union Bank of India is recruiting 1636 boys and girls for the post of “Single Window Operator “A”/ Clerk”. Candidates holding valid score card issued by IBPS may apply. Application form is to be submitted Online only from the official website of the bank within the scheduled date. Qualification, age limit and other eligibility criteria in brief is given below—
1. Single Window Operator ‘A’/ Clerk: 1636 Nos. (Gen—791; SC—237; ST—138; OBC—470). Out of them PWD—97 and Ex-Serviceman—237nos.
No. of vacancies varies from State to State. Candidates should apply against the vacancies of that State/UT from which they have appeared for the Common Written Examination (CWE).

Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and must have qualified CWE conducted by IBPS and in possession of valid Score Card. Cut-Off marks TWS score is as per bank’s norms.
Candidates should have ability to read, write and speak the official language of the State/UT for which he/she applies.
Age: between 20yrs to 28yrs as on 1/8/2011. Age relaxation—OBC-3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs, PWD—10yrs, Widow/legally separated/ divorced women—9yrs, Ex-Serviceman and other categories—as per norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.8000—Rs.19300 plus allowance as per bank’s norms and rules.
Selection Steps: Candidates will be shortlisted on basis of performance in Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS. The Shortlisted candidates will be then called for Personal Interview.
The selected candidates will be on probation for six months.
The shortlist of candidates will be available in due course on bank’s website. Date and venue of Personal Interview will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates in due course.

The notification entitled “UNION BANK RECRUTIMENT PROJECT – 2012-CLERK” will open in a career page. Read the instruction carefully and proceed to apply online.
Application Fee: Print-out the Fee Payment Challan from the bank’s website and deposit the amount of Rs.100 (for General and OBC candidates) and Rs.20 (for Others) from any branch of Union Bank of India.
After making the fee deposit, revisit the bank’s website and fill the online application form.
After successful submission of Online application form; a system generated application with Unique Registration No. and details will appear on the screen. Print-out this generated application and retain safely for future correspondence.
Last date of Application: Online application and Fee payment can be made by last 3rd July 2012.
Do not send any documents or print-out application form to the bank. All the documents will be verified during, if called, Interview.
