Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), Kochi, (P&A Department) is recruiting 448 tradesman for the posts of “Fabrication/ Outfit Assistant” and “Crane Operators (EOT Cranes)” on contractual basis for the IAC and FPV Projects of Cochin Shipyard Limited. FABRICATION ASSISTANT —
— Sheet Metal Worker: 147 Nos.
— Welder: 53 Nos.
OUTFIT ASSISTANTS —
— Fitter Pipe (Plumber): 116 Nos.
— Diesel Mechanic: 37 Nos.
— Instrument Mechanic: 14 Nos.
— Electrician: 38 Nos.
— Electronic Mechanic: 7 Nos.
— Shipyard Wood: 6 Nos.
— Painter: 26 Nos.
Educational Qualification (For Fabrication Asst./ Outfit Asst.): Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) in the respective trade and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC)
Experience: Minimum 3yrs post qualification experience/ training in a Shipyard or Engineering Industry.
CRANE OPERATOR —
— Crane Operator (EOT Cranes): 4 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the trade of Electrician/ Electronics.
Experience: 3yrs post qualification experience or training in operating EOT cranes in a Shipyard or Engineering Industry.
Consolidate Pay: Rs.14000/- per month and additional pay for extra hours of work.
Age Limits: within 30yrs as on 30/04/2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST- 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs.
The engagement of the candidates will be on contractual basis for period of 2 years.
Selection of the candidates will be through Walk-in-Interview and Practical Test and will be conducted from 15th April 2013 to 30th April 2013 at Cochin Shipyard Indoor Stadium, Thevara.
