Dena Bank is recruiting is 500 persons for the post of “Probationary Officer”. Candidates who have valid Score Card issued by IBPS in 2011-12 and are within 30yrs of age may apply for the post online from the bank’s website within 12th April 2012. Details below—

Probationary Officer
Post code-1; Grade—JMG Scale-I

No. of vacancies: 500 Nos. (Gen-250; SC- 79; ST-37; OBC-134) Out of them PH—34 Nos.

Qualification: Degree in any discipline from recognised University/Institutes. Candidates should have posses the qualification before or on 01/07/2011.
Computer knowledge: Computer knowledge and skills on computer applications such as – MS Office, Lotus, Internet, E-Mail and Windows, is essential before joining the bank. Candidates who have passed the computer subject during his graduation/ post-graduation is also acceptable.
Valid IBPS Score Card: Candidates should have valid Score card issued by IBPS for Common Written Examination for Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees- 2011-12.
Cut-off in each paper/test— 24 & above for General candidates and 21 & above for SC/ST/OBC and PH candidates.
Total Weighted Standard Score (TWS)—Minimum 130 for General Candidates and Minimum 125 for SC/ST/OBC/PH.

Age limit: Candidates within age of 30yrs (21 years minimum) as on 01/07/2011 may apply. Age relaxation—OBC-3yrs; SC/ST-5yrs; PH-10yrs, Domicile of J&K- 5yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others—as per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.14500—Rs.25700
Probation period will be of two years.

Selection steps: On basis of marks obtained in Score Card issued by IBPS; shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview. Interview will be of 100 marks out of 40% will be qualified marks (35% in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates). Final selection will made on basis of merit/performance in CWE and Interview.
The Interview will hold at major centres of the country which bank will decided where to allocate the Interview venue to the candidates. The exact date and venue of the Interview will be informed to the candidates through call letters.

How to Apply: Application can be submitted Online only from the official site of Dena Bank— http://www.denabank.com
Before applying online, visit the Dena Bank’s website and print-out the Fee Payment Challan. Now fill the fee challan deposit the Application fee of Rs.200 (Rs.50 for SC/ST and PH candidates) at the nearest branch of Dena Bank in cash. The cash should be deposited in the following account no—CBS Account NO. 116211021139 with Corporate Business Branch, BKC, Mumbai – 51 in the name & style of “Dena Bank – Rectt Pro for PO – 2012”
After depositing the Application fee, visit the official site of Dena Bank and submit the Online Application Form.
After submitting the Application form; a system generated Application form with unique Registration No. and password will appear. Note down the password and Registration No. and make a Print-Out copy of the system generated Application form for further reference.
Candidates do not required to send any documents or form by post to the bank’s address. Candidates should make photocopy of Fee payment challan for further use. All the required documents in 2 sets and print-out Application form along with Fee payment challan receipt and Call letter should need to be produce during Interview.
Candidates should affix color passport size photograph on the print-out application form and Call letter. Same spare copy of photograph should be kept for later use in Interview. Failing to do so can lead to cancellation. Black and White passport photograph will not be entertained.

Call letters to the candidates will be emailed to the candidates’ email id or can be downloaded from the bank’s website. No call letters will be sent to the candidates by post. Therefore, it is important to mention valid working email id during online registration. Candidates who do not have email id can create a new email id from Google or Yahoo at free of cost.

Last Date: Online application form as well as Application Fee can be submitted within or by last 12th April 2012.
