North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO), a Government of India Enterprise, is recruiting for Trainee Engineers, Officers and Professionals in various fields. Eligible candidates may apply on prescribed format within scheduled date. Advertisement No: NEEPCO/Rectt.01/ 2012. The eligibility norms and qualification criteria is given below in brief—
1. Trainee Engineer (Civil): 10 Nos. (Gen—5; SC—3; OBC—2)
Qualification: BE/B.Tech/ B.Sc Engg./AMIE in Civil Engineering from recognized Institute or University with minimum 65% marks or equivalent grade (55% marks for SC/ST) .
2. Trainee Engineer (Electrical/ Mechanical): 10 Nos. (Gen—5; SC—2; ST—01; OBC—2)
Qualification: Same as above but in field on Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering.
3. Trainee Officer (Geology): 4 Nos. (Gen—2; SC—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: M.Sc/ M.Tech. in Applied Geology with minimum 65% (55% marks for SC/ST)
4. Trainee Officer (IT): 5 Nos. (Gen—4; OBC—1)
Qualification: BE / B.Tech. / B.Sc Engineering (Computer Science, Computer Engineering/ Electronics & Communication/IT) or MCA with 65% marks (55% marks in case of SC/ST)
5. Medical Officer: 4 Nos. (Gen—2; SC—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: MBBS Degree and registration with Indian Medical Council
6. Jr. Company Secretary: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate with Membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
7. Trainee Personnel Officer: 4 Nos. (Gen—2; OBC—1; PWD—1)
Qualification: Graduate with full time MBA or Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Personnel & Administration /Industrial Relations / Human Resource Development / Human Resource Management with minimum 65% marks of minimum 2yrs duration (55% in case of SC/ST).
8. Trainee Accounts Officer: 6 Nos. (Gen—3; SC—1; OBC—1; PWD—1)
Qualification: CA/ICWA or Graduate with full time MBA or Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Finance with minimum 65% marks or equivalent grade of minimum 2 years duration(55% marks for SC/ST) .
9. Deputy Manager (Finance): 4 Nos. (Gen—3; OBC—1)
Qualification: Same as above post but with post qualification experience of minimum 7yrs in relevant field.
Selection Steps: Shortlisted candidates for the posts of Trainee Engineer / Officer will be called for Written Test/ Interview and for rest of other posts will be through Interview.
Test centres will at Guwahati and Shillong. Candidates can choose any one of the centre. Admit card will be send to the eligible candidates in due course by post/ email.
Application Fee: General and OBC candidates should prepare a crossed Demand Draft of Rs.500/- in favour of – “NEEPCO Ltd” and payable at—“Shillong”. SC/ST/PWD candidates do not require application fee.
