Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC), as per Notification No. 30/2012, invites Online application form for Direct Recruitment in the posts of – Engineering Supervisor and Junior Technical Assistant. Eligible candidates may submit the online application from the official website of Tamil Nadu PSC within 21-09-2012. Eligibility norms and criteria in brief is given below—
1. Engineering Supervisor: 6 Nos. (GT—2; BC—1; MBC/DC—1; SC—1; SC-A—1)

Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training.
Experience: atleast 5yrs of experience in relevant field.
Age: between 18yrs to 30yrs as on 01/07/2012 (No maximum age limit for reserved categories)
Pay scale: Rs.9300—Rs.34800 and Grade pay: Rs.4400
2. Junior Technical Assistant: 5 Nos. (GT—2; BC—2; SC—1)

Qualification: Minimum General education and Diploma in Handloom Technology from recognized Institutions.
OR
Diploma in Textile Manufacture obtained from the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu or Technological Diploma Examination Board, Chennai.
Age: between 18yrs to 30 yrs as on 01/07/2012 (No maximum age limit for reserved categories)
Pay scale: Rs.9300—Rs.34800 and Grade pay: Rs.4200
Selection of candidates will be through Written examination and Oral Test. Centre of Examination will be CHENNAI only (Code No.001). Scheduled date of written examination – 28/10/2012 (10 AM to 1 PM). The Hall tickets for Examination will be available on the official site of TNPSC in due course. No correspondence will be made by post.
Candidates should be physically fit and should have standard vision.
Examination Fee: Examination fee Rs.150/- (i.e. Cost of Application Rs.50/- + Examination fee Rs. 100/-). Fee can be paid through Online or Offline mode. For Online payment, candidates can pay the fee by their Credit Card/ Debit Card or Net Banking. For Offline mode; candidates must print-out the fee payment challan from the website of TNPSC and should deposit the prescribed amount from any branch of Indian Bank.
Those who have registered in the one time registration system and paid the registration fee of Rs.50/- and received the registration ID need not pay the application fee for a period of 5 years from the date of registration even if he applies for any other posts, subsequently notified by the Commission. But those candidates shall pay examination fee if applicable. For fee details, please refer the Advt. (link given below)

During online application candidates will require to upload their scan image of passport size photograph and Signature.
After successful submission of Online application; print-out the system generated Registration slip and retain safely for later use. Do not send any document/ form to the Commission’s.
Last Date of Application: Online Application can be filled upto 21st September 2012 till midnight. Last date of Fee payment through Bank or Post office — 25/09/2012.
