National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC Limited) is recruiting 60 candidates for the post of “Executive Trainee” in discipline of Human Resources and Finance. Candidates will be selected through All India based Online Selection Test.  Details below—

1. Executive Trainee— Human Resource (ET- HR)
Posts: 25 Nos. (Gen-8; OBC-9; SC-6; ST-2)
Backlog vacancies—OBC-6, SC-4, ST-1
Qualification: Graduates with at least two years full time Post Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma / Post Graduate Program in Management with specialization in Human Resource / Industrial Relations / Personnel Management or Masters in Social Work or MHROD or MBA with specialization in HR with minimum 65% marks taking average of all the Semesters/Years, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular semester/year by the Institute/University.
Final year candidates may also apply, in such cases candidates should have to produce their result by 1/8/2012 as well as candidates should have certainty of acquiring 65%.

2. Executives Trainees – Finance (ET – Fin)
Posts: 35 Nos. (Gen-15; OBC-6; SC-1; ST-13)
Backlog vacancies—OBC-2; ST-12.
Qualification: CA/ICWA from recognized Institute may apply. Final year students may also apply but they will have to produce result by 1/8/2012.

Age limit: Candidates should be maximum 29yrs by age as on 21/3/2012 i.e. date of birth should not be before 21/3/1983. Age relaxation is as per norms.

Candidates’ Selection: Candidates will be selected through All India based Online Selection Test. Qualified candidates will be then called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
Online Selection Test will be taken at respective test centres, the list of test centres will be available to the candidates on the online application form, from where they can opt for any one.
All India Online Selection Test will be held on 14th April and 15th April 2012 (Sat & Sun). Questions will be available on Hindi and English. Test will be in two parts. Part-I will consist 70 Multiple choice questions based on disciplines of Human Resources/ Finance. Part-II will consist 50 multiple-choice questions on Executive Aptitude Test. There will be negative marking for each wrong answer. Total allotted time—2 hours.
Candidates should have sound health. Medical Examination will be carried on the qualified candidates.

Before online registration, Registration fee of Rs.500 will have to deposited through Pay-in-Slip in any branch of State Bank of India. Deposit the fee in A/c No. 30987919993 at CAG branch, New Delhi (Code: 09996), on behalf of NTPC. The pay-in-slip is strictly required to deposit the amount. Pay in slip can be downloaded from the official site of NTPC Limited. SC/ST/PH candidates do not require to pay registration fee.

After successful submission of Online application form, candidates is required to print-out/download the system generated registration slip which may appear with unique registration numbers. The print-out registration slip will required during Group Discussion and Personal Interview if selected. Admit card will be issued from the website for Online Test on/after 5th April 2012.
