Headquarters Eastern Naval Command, Visakhapatnam, requires 112 Nurse/ Sister, Operator, Driver, Fireman, MTS. Last Dt.31/07/2013 (7/8/2013 for far flung areas)

Headquarters Eastern Naval Command, Naval Base, Visakhapatnam, is recruiting 112 candidates for various posts in its Units, viz. — Nurse/ Civilian Sister, Telephone Operator, Cook, Driver, Fireman and Multi Tasking Staff.  Eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format within below scheduled date. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below —

1. Nurse/ Civilian Sister: 3 Nos. (Gen—2; SC—1)
Qualification: Matriculation pass and Certificate of training as a nurse AND Registered as a fully trained Nurse in the medical and the surgical nursing and midwifery.
Age: 18 to 45 years.

2. Telephone Operator—II: 8 Nos. (Gen—00; OBC—5; SC—2; ST—1)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and proficiency in handling of PBX Board
Age: 18 to 25 years.

3. Cook: 5 Nos. (Gen—3; OBC—1; ST—1)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and one year experience in the trade.
Age: 18 to 25 years.

4. Civilian Motor Driver (OG): 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and must posses driving license of Heavy Motor Vehicle plus one year experience in heavy vehicle driving.
Age: 18 to 25 years.

5. Fire Engine Driver—II: 1 Nos. (OBC)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and must have at least 03 years experience of driving Heavy Vehicles and be in possession of valid driving license.
Candidates must be physically fit and must meet the physical standards as per norms. (See the released Advt. for physical standards and Endurance Test)
Age: 21 to 30 years.

6. Fireman—II: 83 Nos. (Gen—53; OBC—19; SC—10; ST—1)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and must be physically fit and capable to performing strenuous duties.
Candidates must meet the physical standards as per norms. (See the released Advt. for physical standards and Endurance Test)
Age: 18 to 25 years.

7. Ward Sahaika (MTS): 5 Nos. (Gen—3; OBC—1; SC—1)
Qualification: Matriculation and some experience in female ward.
Age: 18 to 40 years.

8. Barber (MTS): 2 Nos. (Gen—1; ST—1)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and proficiency in the profession.
Age: 18 to 25 years.

9. Bearer/ Server (MTS): 3 Nos. (Gen—1; OBC—1; ST—1)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and experience of six month in the trade.
Age: 18 to 25 years.

10. Dhobi (MTS): 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and some experience in the trade.
Age: 18 to 40 years.

N.B: The total no. of vacancies indicated against all posts are inclusive of vacancies reserved for PWD/Ex-Service Men categories.

Upper age relaxation for SC/ST—5yrs; OBC—3yrs; PH—10yrs; Ex-servicemen and Others—as per norms. Age will be counted as on 31/07/2013.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination/ Interview/ Skill Test (as applicable). Only eligible candidates will be intimated for selection steps in due course.
The date and venue will be intimated in due course through Call letter/ Admit card.

The Application form must be enclosed with attested copies of testimonials in support of Qualification, Age, Caste and Etc (as applicable for the vacancies). The candidates must affixed a latest passport size photograph duly attested by Gazetted Officer in the Application form as well as must enclose one Self-addressed envelope (23x11cms) duly affixed with postal stamp of Rs.10/- on it.
