High Court of Uttarakhand, Nainital, is inviting Application form for the post of Personal Assistant on direct recruitment in the establishment of High Court of Uttarakhand. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format only (see below). Selection of the candidates will be through Written, Dictation and Typing Test. Educational qualification norms and other details in brief are given below —
Name of the Post: PERSONAL ASSISTANT
Number of Vacancies: 07 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Law or equivalent and must possess good knowledge in English Shorthand and Typing with minimum speed of 40 words per minute in English and 100 words per minute in English Shorthand.
Candidates shall have good mental and physical state.
Age Limit: minimum 21yrs and maximum 25yrs as on 01/07/2013. Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per Govt. norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300—34800 with Grade Pay: Rs.4600/-
Selection of the candidates will be through — (i) Written Test of General Knowledge & General English with multiple choice questions (Objective Type) (30 Marks) and (ii) Shorthand dictation in English and typing it on computer (70 marks). There will be no interview.
The list of eligible candidates shall be uploaded on the website of the High Court on or before 15.02.2014.
The written examination and typing test shall be conducted in Nainital on 22/23.02.2014 Admit Card shall be sent to the candidates.

The Application form must be enclose with Demand Draft of below mentioned prescribed fee. The candidate need not to enclose the copies of testimonials of academic qualification, experience etc. at this stage. Only SC/ST candidates claiming fee concession must enclose copy of certificate of SC or ST.
Application Fee: General and OBC category candidates must enclose a Demand Draft of Rs.300/- whereas SC/ST category candidates may enclose a DD of Rs.150/-. The Demand Draft shall be drawn in favour of — Registrar General, High Court of Uttarakhand, payable at Nainital.
