IBPS conducts CWE Clerks Examination every year. Candidates who qualify the examination (preliminary & main) are awarded with IBPS Score card. With this score card, candidates may appear directly for Interview of any participating banks/organization, within validity period, whenever vacancies are announced for Clerical cadre posts. The validity for CWE Clerks-VI will be till 31.03.2018

 

CLERICAL CADRE (CWE CLERKS-VI)
Total No. of vacancies: 19243 Nos.

 

Educational Qualification: A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

Essential:
(i) Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should
have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/ Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute AND
(ii) Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.

Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 01.08.2016 i.e. candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1988 and not later than 01.08.1996 (both dates inclusive)

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Common Recruitment Process- CWE (Preliminary & Main Examination).

The examination will be conducted online in venues across many centres in India. The tentative list of Examination centres for the Preliminary exams is available in the officially released advertisement, given below in PDF format.

Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS)

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.600/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PWD & Ex-Serviceman) as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking or any other option available. DO NOT SUBMIT MORE THAN ONE APPLICATION.

During submission of Online Application form, candidates will require to upload their scan copy of passport size photograph and signature.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
