Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) normally holds Common Written Examination (CWE) once a year for forthcoming recruitments in the participating bank.  IBPS awards valid Score Card to the qualified candidates and through this Score Card, candidates may apply for the forthcoming vacancies in the below listed participating bank.
The validity of Score card is one year and within the period of one year, candidate may apply for more than one bank. The participating bank normally released recruitment advertisement every year once or twice. On basis of performance in IBPS, the bank calls the eligible candidate for Personal Interview.

The next Common Written Examination (CWE PO/MT-III) for selection of personnel for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee posts in the Participating Organisations listed below will be conducted online by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively in October 2013.

Eligibility Criteria — 

Educational Qualification: Graduation with 60% marks (55% in case of SC/ST/PWD) in any discipline. Knowledge of Computer (Degree/ Diploma or Certificate in computer application) is essential
As per corrigendum released officially on 22/07/2013, the required education qualification is – A Degree (Graduation) with pass marks in any discipline from a recognized University

Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years 30 years as on 01-07-2013. i.e. a candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1983 and not later than 01.07.1993 (both dates inclusive)
Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs; PWD—10yrs and Ex-Serviceman/ Others—as per norms.

Selection of the candidate will be through Written Examination which will be conducted Online is as follows — Reasoning (50 marks), English Language (40 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks), General Awareness (40 marks) and Computer Knowledge (20 marks).
The language of the test will be bilingual, i.e. English and Hindi. There will be negative marking for wrong answers.

The Centre, venue address, date and time for examination and interview shall be intimated in the respective Call Letter.

An eligible candidate should download his/her call letter from the IBPS website www.ibps.in by entering his/ her details i.e. Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth. No hard copy of the call letter/ Information Handout etc. will be sent by post/ courier.
Candidates may download their Call letters for examination after 07.10.2013.
The examination will be conducted online in venues across many centres in India. Tentative date of Examination is — 19/10/2013 to 27/10/2013.

Candidates residing in West Bengal may choose any one of the following centre — Asansol, Balurghat, Berhampur (West Bengal), Burdwan, Durgapur, Hooghly, Howrah, Kalyani, Kolkata, Krishnanagar, Malda, Murshidabad, Raiganj, Suri, Siliguri.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs.600/- (Rs.100 for SC/ST/PWD candidates). Application Fee can be paid online through Debit/ Credit card during filling of the online Application form OR can be paid by means of fee payment challan which will be generated automatically after successful submission of online application, through the CBS branches of the following banks — Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Central Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank, United Bank of India. After successful submission of Online Application form, the system generated Registration slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it and retain safely for future use. Do not send any hard copy of application to the Institution.
