COMMON WRITTEN EXAMINATION FOR PROBATIONARY OFFICER/ MANAGEMENT TRAINEE – VI (CWE PO/MT-VI), 2016

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts online CWE PO/MT Examination every year for selection of personnel for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee posts in the different Participating Organisations/ Banks (listed below). The examination will be two tier i.e. the online examination will be held in two phases, preliminary and main.

The candidates who qualify this examination are awarded with CWE PO/MT Certificate/Score card. The validity of this Certificate/Score card is one year, i.e. it expires on 31st March of the forthcoming year from the year the result is declared. During the validity year, candidates may directly appear for Interview fixed by different participating organization/banks for selection to the post of Probationary Officer/Management Trainee. Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Bharatiya Mahila Bank, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Dena Bank, ECGC, EXIM Bank, IDBI Bank, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, Syndicate Bank, UCO Bank, Union Bank of India, United Bank of India, Vijaya Bank, Any other bank or financial institution.

 

Educational Qualification (As on 13.08.2016): A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline or equivalent qualification.

 

Age (As on 01.07.2016): Minimum 20 years and Maximum 30 years i.e.  a candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1986 and not later than 01.07.1996 (both dates inclusive)

The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), 10 years for PWD- Un-reserved (UR), 13 years for PWD-OBC(Non-Creamy Layer) and 15 years for PWD-SC/ST candidates. Others, if any – as per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: The examination will be held in two phases, preliminary and main. Candidates who will qualify in preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main examination.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct the online examination (Preliminary & Main Examination) in venues across many centres in India tentatively in October/ November 2016. The Centre, venue address, date and time for both preliminary and main examinations and interview shall be intimated in the respective Call Letter.

Application/Intimation Fee: Rs.600 for General and OBC candidates and Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
