ICAR – Central Inland fisheries Research Institute is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 17 posts of Lower Division Clerk, Technician (Field, Farm Technician), Technician Assistant (Laboratory Technician/ Laboratory Technician/ Hindi Translator). ICAR CIFRI IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 17 POSTS OF LOWER DIVISION CLERK, TECHNICIAN (FIELD FARM TECHNICIAN), TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT (LABORATORY TECHNICIAN/ FARM TECHNICIAN/ HINDI TRANSLATOR). LAST DATE — 31.01.2016

 

1. Lower Division Clerk: 07 Nos. (UR-05, SC-01, OBC-01 (one reserved for Ex-Service men))
Educational Qualification: 12th Class or Equivalent qualification.
Candidates should have typing speed of 35wpm in English and 30wpm in Hindi on Computer.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-27 years
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay-1900/-

 

2. Technician (T-1) (Field, Farm Technician): 01 Nos. (OBC-01 (one reserved for Ex-Service men))
Educational Qualification: Matriculation Pass or equivalent.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-30 years
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay-2000/-

 

3. Technician Assistant (T-3) (Field, Farm Technician): 07 Nos. (SC-02, OBC-02, UR-03)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or any other branch of Science / Social Science relevant to Agriculture or equivalent qualification.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-30 years
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay-2000/-

 

4. Technician (T-3) (Laboratory Technician) : 01 Nos. (OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Library Science / Library & Information Science or equivalent qualification.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-30 years
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay-2800/-

 

5. Technician (T-3) (Hindi Translator): 01 Nos. (UR-01)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi or English as a compulsory or elective subject (For details, see Advt.)
AND Diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice-versa, or two years experience of translation work.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-30 years
Pay Scale: Rs,5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay-2800/-

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relax able by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test / Type Test. Examination centre will be at Kolkata / Barrackpore.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.500/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favor of ICAR Unit-CIFRI, payable at Barrackpore. Write name on the back side of the D.D.
NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF WOMEN CANDIDATES, SC, ST, PWD AND EX-SERVICEMEN CANDIDATES.
