NCC SPECIAL ENTRY SCHEME- COURSE COMMENCING IN JAN 2018 – INDIAN AIR FORCE (IAF)
Course commencing in January 2018 for grant of Permanent Commission (PC) for Men and Short Service Commission (SSC) for Men & Women in Flying Branch.
Educational Qualification: NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ certificate acquired on or after 21 May 15 is mandatory.
Graduates with minimum three year degree course in any discipline from a recognized University who have attained minimum 60% marks or equivalent and have passed Maths & Physics at 10+2 level or BE/B Tech degree (Four year course).
Candidates who have cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks or equivalent are also eligible.

Age Limit: Minimum-20 years and maximum-24 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.15,600 – Rs.39,100 plus other allowances.
Physical Standards (common to Male and Female candidates):
(i) Height — 162.5 cms;
(ii) Leg Length: Min – 99 cms, Max – 120 cms.
(iii) Thigh Length : Max – 64 cms,
(iv) Sitting Height : Min – 81.5 cms. Max- 96 cms.
Weight: Proportionate to the height and age.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis Officer Intelligence Rating Test, Picture Perception and discussion Test, Psychological, Group Tests and Interview and Medical Examination.
Testing will be held at Dehradun, Mysore and Varanasi. Medical Examination will be conducted at AFCME, New Delhi/ IAM Bengaluru.
Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Indian Air Force — www.careerairforce.nic.in.
