Indian Oil, Bongaigaon Refinery is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 56 posts of Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Production, P&U, Electrical, Fire & Safety, Instrumentation), Junior Materials Assistant-IV and Junior Quality Control Analyst – IV. INDIAN OIL, BONGAIGAON REFINERY IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 56 POSTS OF JUNIOR ENGINEERING ASSISTANT-IV (PRODUCTION, P&U, ELECTRICAL, FIRE & SAFETY, INSTRUMENTATION), JUNIOR MATERIALS ASSISTANT-IV AND JUNIOR QUALITY CONTROL ANALYST – IV. LAST DATE — 23.01.2017.

 

  1. JUNIOR ENGINEERING ASSISTANT – IV (PRODUCTION)

No. of Vacancies: 28 Nos. (UR-12, OBC-10, SC-03, ST-03)

Educational Qualification: Three years full time, regular /sandwich Diploma in Chemical/ Refinery & Petrochemical Engg. or B.Sc. (Math, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry) with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates).

Experience: Minimum one year of post qualification experience in the related field.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 26 years as on 01.10.2016.

Pay Scale: Rs.11, 900 – Rs.32,000

 

  1. JUNIOR ENGINEERING ASSISTANT-IV (POWER & UTILITIES)

No. of Vacancies: 13 Nos. (UR-08, OBC-03, SC-01, ST-01)

Educational Qualification: Three years full time, regular /sandwich Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and possessing Boiler Competency Certificate with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates).

In case of candidates not possessing above Qualification preference will be given to the following qualification:

(i) Matric with ITI (Fitter) with Boiler Competency Certificate.

(ii) Sc. (PCM) with an Apprenticeship Training in Boiler Trade

(iii) Minimum three years full time, regular/sandwich Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Experience: Minimum one year post qualification experience for candidates possessing a Diploma.

No experience shall be required for candidates possessing Diploma or Matric with ITI (Fitter) and holding Boiler Competency Certificate.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 26 years as on 01.10.2016.

Pay Scale: Rs.11, 900 – Rs.32,000

 

  1. JUNIOR ENGINEERING ASSISTANT- IV (ELECTRICAL)

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (PWD-01)

Educational Qualification: Three years full time regular / sand witch Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates).

Experience: Minimum One year of post qualification experience.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 26 years as on 01.10.2016.

Pay Scale: Rs.11, 900 – Rs.32,000

 

  1. JUNIOR ENGINEERING ASSISTANT – IV (FIRE & SAFETY)

No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR-02)

Educational Qualification: Matric plus Sub-Officers Course or equivalent (Regular Course) with Heavy Vehicle Driving License with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates).

Experience: Minimum one year of post qualification experience.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 26 years as on 01.10.2016.

Pay Scale: Rs.11, 900 – Rs.32, 000

 

  1. JUNIOR ENGINEERING ASSISTANT – IV (INSTRUMENTATION)

No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR-01, OBC-01)

Educational Qualification: Three years full time, regular /sandwich Diploma in Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Electronics / Instrumentation & Control Engineering with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates).

Experience: Minimum one year of post qualification experience.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 26 years as on 01.10.2016.

Pay Scale: Rs.11, 900 – Rs.32, 000

 

  1. JUNIOR MATERIALS ASSISTANT -IV

No. of Vacancies: 09 Nos. (UR-06, OBC-02, ST-01)

Educational Qualification: Three year’s full time, regular /sandwich Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates).

Experience: Minimum one year of post qualification experience.

Working knowledge of ERP systems like SAP etc will be preferred.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 26 years as on 01.10.2016.

Pay Scale: Rs.11, 900 – Rs.32,000

 

  1. JUNIOR QUALITY CONTROL ANALYST- IV

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (PWD-01)

Educational Qualification: B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates).

Experience: Minimum one year of post qualification experience.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 26 years as on 01.10.2016.

Pay Scale: Rs.11, 900 – Rs.32,000

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Physical Standards (For Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (Fire & Safety) only):

(i) Male Candidates: Height — 165 cm; Chest (unexpanded) — 81 cm; Chest (expanded) — 86.5 cm; Weight — 50 kg,

Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Skill/ Proficiency/ Physical Test. Written Test and Skill/ Proficiency/ Physical Test shall be conducted at Dhaligaon / Bongaigaon, BTAD Assam only.
