Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, Panipat Refinery, is inviting Online application from the eligible candidates for 14 posts of – Jr. Materials Assistant, Industrial Hygienist and Jr. Engineering Assistant-IV (Mechanical Fitter cum Rigger). Candidates will be selected through Written Test/ Trade Test and Personal Interview. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria in brief is given below —
1. Jr. Materials Assistant: 3 Nos.
Qualification: 3yrs Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Candidates must have secured minimum 50% marks. Applicable to Gen, OBC, SC and ST category. (Pass marks for PWD candidates only)
Desirable experience: Two Years working experience in operation and Maintenance of an industry or of handling various types of materials used in an industry of repute is desirable.
PWD candidates may also apply for this post.
2. Industrial Hygienist-IV: 01 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate in Environment Science OR Post Graduate in Organic Chemistry. Candidates must have secured minimum 60% marks. Applicable to Gen, OBC, SC and ST category.
Experience: Minimum one year experience as industrial Hygienist in a reputed Hospital/Industry. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in Occupational Health Centre.
3. Jr. Engineering Assistant – IV (Mechanical Fitter cum Rigger): 10 Nos.
Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR Matric with ITI in Fitter Trade. Candidates must have secured minimum 50% marks. Applicable to Gen, OBC and ST category (Pass marks in case of SC candidates)
Experience: 2 years for Diploma holder and 3 years for ITI holder in maintenance of rotary equipment like Compressors, Gas/ Steam turbines, Pumps etc. and Stationary equipment like Boilers, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Vessels, Piping etc. in any industry.
Reservation of posts for SC/ST OBC and PWD candidates is as per govt. norms.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 26 years as on 31.05.2013. Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection will be through Written Test/Trade Test/ Personal Interview. The candidates will have to pass through each stage including medical fitness successfully.
The candidates will have the option to appear for test/ interview either in Hindi or English. The exact date, place and time of the written test /interview will be intimated by email to the shortlisted candidates.
The written test/ personal interview is likely to be held in the month of June/July, 2013.

Application Fee: Fee of Rs.100/- is to be paid in form of crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LTD., payable at SBI Baholi, Panipat (Brach Code- 8706).
SC/ST and PWD candidates are not required to pay Application Fees.
The demand draft along with a copy of the on-line application print out is to be brought at the time of written test / interview failing which the candidature shall be rejected. Candidate must write name, address, post code at the reverse of the demand draft.
After successfully applying/registering on-line applications , the candidate must take a print out of the filled in on-line application form, affix a recent passport size photograph, sign at the specified place and produce the same at the time of written test /interview. Copies of certificates pertaining to age, qualification, caste, experience, demand draft (where applicable) etc. must be attached along with the print out of the on-line application form.
Do not send the print-out copy of application form to anywhere.
A candidate can apply for one discipline only. Candidates applying for more than one discipline shall not be considered.
