Odisha Staff Selection Commission (Odisha SSC), Bhubaneswar, is recruiting 156 Boys and Girls for the post of “Inspector of Supplies” in the Department of Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare. 1. Inspector of Supplies: 156 Nos. (Gen—38; SC—26; ST—44; SEBC—48). Out of total—52 Nos. is reserved for Women candidates, 5nos. reserved for Ex-Serviceman, 5nos. reserved for PH candidates and 2nos. reserved for Sportsperson.

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree/ Graduation in any discipline and Candidates must have passed language test in Odia or may have studied Odia as one of the subject in their Matric or Higher Secondary level examination.
Age: Candidates should be between 21yrs to 32yrs as on 01/01/2012. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST/ SEBC/ Women categories — 5yrs and 10yrs for PH candidates. Ex-serviceman and others—as per norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300—Rs.34800 and Grade pay of Rs. 4200/-
Candidates selection will be through Preliminary Examination or 100 Marks. Qualified candidates from Preliminary Examination will be called for Main Written Exam (200 marks) and then Viva Voce Test.
Date/ Time and venue of examination will be intimated to the eligible candidates only in due course through Admission/ Call letter.
How to Apply: Candidates may opt to submit Application by Offline Mode or Online Mode from the official website of Odisha SSC.
For Offline mode, candidates will have to collect the Application form at any district headquarters in the Office of the Additional District Magistrate, at the Office of the ADM, Bhubaneswar/ Rourkela and at Sub-Collector’s Office, Berhampur/ Jaipore. The filled application form can be later submitted in person or by post along with documents as enclosures.
For Online Application mode, candidates should visit the official website of Odisha SSC — http://www.odishassc.in and then click the link named “Online Application” available on the top menu bar. Doing so will open the blank form. candidates should fill the form and then submit the form. After successful submission of Online form; a system generated form with unique User ID and password will appear on the screen.
Candidates should print-out this generated form in two copies out of which one copy, along with requisite documents, is to be send by Registered Post or can be submitted in Person at the below given address.
Application fee: Candidates should deposit Rs.100/- only through Treasury Challan under Head of Account “0051—P.S.C.—104—UPSC/SSC—Examination fees”. SC/ST candidates are not require to pay Application fee.
Candidates should mention treasury challan No. and date in the online application and the original treasury challan has to submitted with the print-out application form. Candidates applying Offline should enclose the original challan alongwith OMR application form.
Candidates should enclose the Original treasury Challan in proof of payment, copies of Education Certificates, Age proof, Caste and any other relevant documents in support of eligibility, along with their application form, either Offline or Online.
Candidates should also enclose 2 Nos. passport size photographs (one copy is to be paste on form without any signature and other copy enclose with the form duly attested by Gazetted officer) and one self-addressed envelope with postage stamp of Rs.5.
