ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB)— Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is recruiting 233 ASSISTANT (Administrative Support Staff) for various ISRO Centres/ Units, across India. ADVT. ISRO INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 233 ASSISTANT POSTS FOR ITS CENTRE / UNITS. LAST DATE – 07/08/2014

Number of Vacancies: 233 Nos.

Distribution of vacancies as per Zone wise where the vacancies are available —
1. Ahmedabad: 4 Nos.
2. Hyderabad: 14 Nos.
3. Bangalore: 42 Nos.
4. New Delhi: 4 Nos.
5. Sriharikota: 54 Nos.
6. Thiruvananthapuram: 72 Nos.
Out of total vacancies 09 seats reserved for PWD candidates and 27 for Ex-Servicemen.

Educational Qualification: First Class Graduation in Arts/ Commerce/ Management/ Science/ Computer Applications from recognized University. AND Knowledge of Computer.

Age Limit: 18 to 26 years as on 07/08/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 with Grade Pay: Rs.2400/-. Gross emoluments will be Rs.19820/- per month approximately.

Candidates’ Selection: The selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination. The written test will be conducted on 12.10.2014 [Sunday] at seven venues viz., Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.
Based on the performance in the written test, candidates will be shortlisted for interview
The call letters for written test to the short-listed candidates will be sent only by e-mail during the first week of October, 2014.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of ISRO – www.isro.gov.in (See live URL below) between 17.07.2014 and 07.08.2014.
Upon successful registration, the system generated Registration Number and Application details will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it on plain paper and shall retain the candidate’s copy safely for future reference and shall send the ISRO’s copy to the below address along with ISRO copy of fee payment challan.

Application Fee: Rs.100/- only. After registration of application on-line, the candidates have to download and print the personalized payment challan form, in triplicate, from the ISRO system/link which will contain the Name of the candidate, Registration Number, Receipt Account Number, Advertisement No., and Post Code. The candidates may visit the nearest branch of State Bank of India for remittance of application fee. See link below for details.
The candidate has to send one part of the challan form [ISRO copy] to Administrative Officer (ICRB), ISRO Headquarters, Antariksh Bhavan, New BEL Road, Bangalore – 560 094 by ‘ORDINDARY POST ONLY’ superscribing on the envelope “ICRB – RECRUITMENT OF ASSISTANT” within 7 days of filing of application and in any case not later than 14.08.2014.

SC/ST, PWD, WOMEN CANDIDATES AND EX-SERVICEMAN ARE EXEMPTED FROM PAYMENT OF APPLICATION FEE.
