Number of Vacancies: 440 Posts.
Distribution of vacancies as per Blocks and Gram Panchayat under District Jalpaiguri, is as follows: –
Maynaguri Block: 160 Posts.
10 posts in each of the following Gram Panchayat – Ramshai, Amguri, Domohani-II, Domohani-I, Maynaguri, Burnesh, Madhabdanga-I, Khagrabari-I, Khagrabari-II, Churabhandar, Saptibari-I, Saptibari-II, Madhabdanga-II, Dharmapur, Padmati-I and Padmati-II
Dhupguri Block: 160 Posts.
10 posts in each of the following Gram Panchayat – Banarhat-I, Salbari-I, Salbari-II, Jharaltagram-I, Jharaltagram-II, Gadhearkuthi, Magurmari-I, Magurmari-II, Barogharia, Sakoajhora-II, Gadong-I, Gadong-II, Banarhat-II, Chamurchi, Binnaguri and Sakoajhora-I
Rajganj Block: 120 Posts.
10 posts in each of the following Gram Panchayat – Binnaguri, Dabgram-I, Dabgram-II, Fulbari-I, Fulbari-II, Kukurjan, Majhiali, Mantadari, Panikouri, Sannyasikata, Shikarpur and Sukhani
Qualification: Class 10 or Madhyamik pass as regular candidate or equivalent.
Gender: Preferably Female candidates belonging SC/ST categories.
Age: Above 18 years old and should be youth.
Other Important Notes:
(i) Candidates should have worked in the MGNREGA or have family members who have worked under MGNREGAS
(ii) Candidates should not be related to PRI representatives, Supervisor and other official of implementing agencies.
(iii) Should be resident of the Gram Panchayats of above mentioned blocks.
(iv) One candidate may apply for one post of only one Gram Panchayat of which he/she is resident.
Nature of Works:
Selected candidates will do the work of Social Audit. The Social Audit process will take place from December 2015 to January 2016. There will be maximum 13 days of work for a particular GP in a financial year.
The engagement to the posts is purely on Daily Basic and not a permanent or temporary or contractual job. Remuneration will be paid to the candidate which will be equivalent to the wage of skilled labour under MGNREGA.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through on basis of Academic qualification (Class 10/ Madhyamik marks), Writting Skill test and Interview.
Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Madhyamik/ equivalent and then first 20 candidates will be called for written test along with interview.
