Required Qualification: Candidates with 3 years of Diploma Engineering Course in respective discipline—Electrical/ Mechanical/ Civil, may apply for the post.
Age Limit: Between 23yrs to 35yrs as on 1/8/2011 for the posts of Junior Engineer (Civil/Mechanical) and between 23yrs to 35yrs as on 1/5/2010 for the post in Junior Engineer (Electrical).
Age relaxation for OBC-3yrs; SC/ST-5yrs. 3yrs for female candidates of OBC/SC/ST or Gen categories.
Only candidates of Jharkhand will receive the age relaxation. Candidates form West Bengal and other states should apply as General Candidates.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 and Grade pay of Rs.4200.
Examination Fee: Candidates should deposit the fee of Rs.400 (Rs.200 for SC/ST) through any branch of State Bank of India through fee challan in a/c no. 32214214185. Fee challan can be downloaded from the official website of Jharkhand Public Service Commission.
Candidates will be selected through Written Examination and Interview.
(FOR JUNIOR ENGINEER)- First paper will be on—(I) General Hindi and (II) General Studies. Second paper will be syllabus of diploma course in engineering in respective discipline.
FOR ASSISTANT ENGINEER: First paper will be on—(I) General Hindi, (II) General English and (III) General Science. Second paper will on syllabus of respective discipline of Assistant grade.
