Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd. (UGVCL), Mehsana, is recruiting 10 persons for the post of “Junior Engineer (Vidyut Sahayak)”. 1. Junior Engineer (Vidyut Sahayak): 10 Nos. approx. (Gen—5; SEBC—2; SC—1; ST—2). The numbers of vacancies may increase in future.
Qualification: Candidates should have done B.E or B.Tech or equivalent in Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. (55% marks in aggregate for candidates in Reserved category)
Age Limit: within 30yrs as on 11/07/2012 (35 yrs for candidates in reserved categories)
Pay Scale and Remuneration: In 1st year –Rs.13000 and in 2nd year—Rs.14000 will be given per month. No other allowances will be given during this 2yrs. After successful completion of 2 years of services as Junior Engineer (Vidyut Sahayak), the candidates will be absorbed as “Junior Engineer” on regular establishment. Pay Scale during this time will be Rs.17300—Rs.38610.
Selection will be through Written Test/ Oral/Interview as on decision of Authority.
Written Test will be of Multiple Choice Question paper on following subjects – (i) General Knowledge, (ii) English Language, (iii) Electrical Engineering and (iv) Computer Knowledge
The questions paper will be set in English Only.
N.B: Candidates must have knowledge in Gujrati and English as well as candidate must have proper knowledge in Computer.
Candidates must have sound health. Reservation for SC/ST/ PH/Ex-serviceman and others and age relaxation in the posts is as per norms.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay Application fee of Rs.500 (Rs.250 for Sc.ST candidates) in form of Demand Draft which should be in favour of – “UGVCL, Mehsana” prepared in any national bank. Candidates should write down their Name and Computer generated Confirmation No. on the back side of the Demand Draft.

- Educational Certificates and Marksheets (from Madhyamik level to Graduation (in Attested copies)
