Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), Southern Zonal Office, Chennai, is inviting application form for the posts of Assistant for performing the duties of Assistant as well as of Cashier, from SC/ST candidates, in Branch Offices of the Corporation in different Division/ Zone of the State – Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Special Recruitment Drive for SC/ST. Qualification requirement and information in brief is given below—
Name of the Post: Assistant
No. of Vacancies: 84 Nos. (SC—83; ST (PWD)—1)
The number of vacancies is further breaks up into Division wise of State Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Refer the Advt. for details.
Qualification Required: between 18yrs to 35yrs as on 01-12-2012. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST Disabled candidates is 10yrs. Others— as per Govt. norms.
Basic pay: Rs.7640—21050 plus other allowances.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Interview. Written Test will be on 17th February 2013 which will be of Objective types and Descriptive types. For syllabus, refer the advertisement (live link given below)
Successful candidates from the Written Test will be called for Interview. Final selection is on the basis of overall performance in the written test and interview.
