Directorate of Lighthouses and Lightship is inviting application on prescribed application format (See PDF below) from Indian Nationals for recruitment to the post of LIGHTHOUSE ATTENDANT. 26 Vacancies are available. Advertisement No. DLL/ LHA/ 2014/1. Matriculation pass or ITI pass candidates may apply for the vacancies. LIGHTHOUSE ATTENDANT
Number of Vacancies: 26 posts. (Gen—16; OBC—10). Out of total vacancies 1 reserved for PH and 3 reserved for Ex-Servicemen.

 

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent pass OR ITI pass in the trade of Electrician or Electronics or Mechanic or Radio & Television Mechanic recognized by NCVT or SCVT

 

Age Limit: 18 to 27yrs as on last date of application. Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per Govt. norms.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1800/-

 

Selection of the candidates will be through Preliminary Screening of candidates, i.e. Running of 1000 Mtrs in 4 minutes and 5 minutes in case of Male and female respectively.
Qualified candidates will be call for Main Written Examination. There will be Physical Efficiency Test. See the officially released advertisement given below in PDF format for more details.
