Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) is recruiting 147 Electrician Cat.III (T). Interested and eligible candidates may apply for the vacancies through online application mode. ELECTRICIAN Cat.III (T)
Number of Vacancies: 147 Nos. (Gen—75; SC—23; ST—32; OBC—17)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass and ITI with 02 years course plus one year training (as per 11 No.32 of NCWA-VI)
Candidates shall have L.T permit under Indian Electricity Rule for mines or 440-550 Volts Mining Parts Permit issued by Competent Authority applicable for coal mines.
Desirable—Candidates having HT permit for cable joining and overhead lines issued by the competent authority applicable to Coal mines and/or Electrical Supervisory Certificate valid for mines will be given preference.
NOTE:
- Any candidates having ITI (Electrician) plus one year training/on the job training or on the job practical experience having certificates like Lineman/ Wireman mentioning Lineman/ Wireman – A/B/C is eligible to apply.
- Any candidates having higher qualification in addition to fulfilling the minimum qualification required as stated above is also eligible to apply.
- This employment advertisement has been released earlier on the month of Feb,2014, therefore candidates who applied before against the employment notice no. Ref.No.MCL/MP&R/ Recruitment/2014/ Elec.Cat.III/94 dtd:04/02/2014, need not to apply again.
Age Limit: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 30 years as on 23/08/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Daily Wages: Selected candidates will be placed in Cat.III on daily wages of Rs.636.77. See PDF file below for details.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Interview. The date and venue of written test/ interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.

After successful submission of online Application form, candidates must print-out the system generated copy of user submitted application.
