North Eastern Railway (NER) is inviting application for 133 posts of Fitter, Welder (G & E), Electrician, Carpenter, Painter (General) and Machinist for selection of Trade Trainees under Apprentice Act 1961. NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY INVITES APPLICATION FOR SELECTION OF 133 TRADE TRAINEES UNDER APPRENTICE ACT. LAST DATE — 04/07/2015

 

1. Fitter: 46 Nos. (Gen—24; OBC—12; SC—07 & ST—03)
2. Welder (G & E): 21 Nos. (Gen—11; OBC—05; SC—03 & ST—02)
3. Electrician: 03 Nos. (Gen—02 & OBC—01)
4. Carpenter: 30 Nos. (Gen—15; OBC—08; SC—05 & ST—02)
5. Painter (General): 28 Nos. (Gen—14; OBC—08; SC—04 & ST—02)
6. Machinist: 05 Nos. (Gen—02; OBC—02 & SC—01)

 

Educational Qualification (for all Trades): Matriculation or equivalent with ITI passed in respective Trade.

 

Age Limit (for all Trades): Minimum 15 to Maximum 24 years as on date of publication of notification. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; and Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Oral Test/Viva-voce test. Exact Date, Time and Venue for selection will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.
