Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) is recruiting 07 “Scientific Assistant (Stipendiary Trainee)” for its Health Physics Unit at “Tarapur Maharashtra Site”. Name of the Post: Scientific Assistant (Stipendiary Trainee)
Number of Vacancies: 07 Nos. (Gen—4; SC—1; ST—1; OBC—1)
Educational Qualification: B.Sc with minimum 60% marks with Physics as principal and Chemistry/Mathematics/Statistics/Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary OR with Chemistry as principal and Physics/ Mathematics/Statistics/Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary OR with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects with equal weightage. Mathematics at HSC (10+2) level is essential.
Age Limit: 18 to 25yrs as on 01-11-2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; and Others – As per norms.
Physical Standards of the candidates shall be as follows —
1. Minimum Height: 160cms
2. Minimum Weight: 45.5 Kgs.
Pay Scale/ Compensation package: During the training period of 18 months duration, candidates will be paid Stipend of Rs.9300/- (Consolidated) per month and on successful completion of training , the Scientific Assistant (Stipendiary Trainee) may be absorbed as Scientific Assistant/B in the Pay Band of ` 9300- 34800 + GP ` 4200 alongwith other benefits and allowances as admissible from time to time.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Interview. Date and venue of Written Test/ Interview will be announced in due course.
