NTPC Limited is inviting application form from the eligible Graduate Engineers for the posts of – Engineering Executive Trainees in discipline of Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation and Electronics. The application can be submitted Online within below scheduled dates. Selection will be on basis of GATE-2014. Qualification norms and brief details is given below —
Engineering Executive Trainees
Discipline – Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation and Electronics.
Educational Qualification: Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/ AIME with minimum 65% marks (in aggregate of all years) in respective discipline. (See the below link for alternative engineering degrees)
Age Limit: Maximum 27yrs as on 18.01.2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Others – As per norms.
Candidates’ Selection:
Selection of the candidates will be on basis of performance in the forthcoming Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)—2014 examination. GATE qualified candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
N.B: Candidates will require to apply for GATE—2014 from the official website of GATE which can be done from dated 02-09-2013 to 01-10-2013.
How to Apply:
Candidates need to apply Online for GATE – 2014 as per the information provided on their websites (See below). They should wait for the admit card to get the GATE registration number
The candidates will receive their GATE-2014 Registration Number printed on their admit card. On receipt of GATE registration number, the candidates need to apply On-line for NTPC ET- 2014 on the website www.ntpccareers.net from 20.12.2013 to 18.01.2014.
While applying on NTPC website, candidates will require to mention their GATE Registration Number in the Application form. After final submission of online Application form, candidates must print-out the system generated Registration Slip and must retain it safely for future use.
Application Fee:
Rs.150/- for General and OBC candidates which can be paid through State Bank of India by means of Pay-in-Slip. The slip can be print-out from the NTPC website.
No Application Fee for SC/ST and PWD candidates.
