Odisha Public Service Commission is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 68 posts of Insurance Medical Officer Group-A (Junior Branch) of Odisha Employees State Insurance Medical Services cadre under Labour and ESI Department. INSURANCE MEDICAL OFFICER GROUP- A

No. of Vacancies: 68 Nos. (UR-41; SC-13; ST-14)

 

Educational Qualification: i) Candidate must possessed M.B.B.S or equivalent Degree from a Medical College or Medical Institution recognised by the Medical Council of India.

ii) Candidate must have a valid registration certificate under the Odisha Medical ‘Registration rules 1965’.

iii) Possessed required conversion certificates recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) in case of candidate having Degrees from University of Foreign Countries.

 

Candidate must be able to read, write and speak Odia fluently and must have passed an examination in Odia language equivalent to that of Middle English School standard conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha; or the Education Department of Government of Odisha or any other Board or Council of Secondary Education approved by the Government of Odisha in Support of passing of Odia Language Test (M.E. School Standard).

 

Age Limit: 21 yrs – 32 yrs as on 01.01.2017

 

Pay Scale: Rs.15,600 – Rs.39,100 with Grade pay of Rs.5,400/-

 

Candidates’ Selection: The selection of candidate will be done on the basis of written test and career marking. The career marking will be for 30% (10% each for class 10th, 12th and MBBS) and 70% for written test.

The written test will be held at Cuttack.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.300/- as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Bank only by means of Fee Payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Odisha Public Service Commission. See officially released advertisement for more details.

NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST OF ODISHA AND PH CANDIDATES.

 

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Odisha Public Service Commission — www.opsconline.gov.in (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 16.03.2017 to 15.04.2017

 

Application must be send by Registered post/ Speed post. Last date for payment of application fee at any SBI Branch is 18.04.2017.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it in two copies on plain A4 size paper. One copy of the print-out must be retained by the candidate for future references and the other copy is to be send along with attested copies of testimonials (qualification certificate/mark sheet, age proof, caste certificate, experience certificate if applicable and etc), at the below given address so as to reach on or before 25.04.2017
