Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) is recruiting 14 Field Supervisor (Civil/ Electrical) on contract basis for period of two years or till the completion of project. 1. FIELD SUPERVISOR (CIVIL)
Number of Vacancies: 6 Nos. (Gen—3; OBC—1; ST—2)
Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 55% marks.
2. FIELD SUPERVISOR (ELECTRICAL)
Number of Vacancies: 8 Nos. (Gen—6; ST—2)
Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 55% marks.
Age Limit: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 29 years as on 21/07/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Monthly Remuneration (all posts): Rs.23000/- and Rs.25500/- per month in first year and second year respectively.
Candidates’ selection: The selection process shall consist of Personal Interview. However, in case applicants are large in number, screening test may be conducted.
Screen Test, if conducted, will be Objective type. See the PDF file given below for syllabus and complete details.
The Screening Test shall be held at RANCHI (JHARKHAND). Exact date and venue of examination shall be intimated through Admit Card. Candidates will have the option to appear the test/ interview in Hindi/ English medium.
Tentative date of Screening Test is 17th August, 2014.
The engagement is purely temporary in nature and on contract basis for a period of two years or completion of project whichever is earlier.
Application Fee: Candidates willing to apply shall pay Application Fee of Rs.100/– in form of A/C Payee Demand Draft in favour of “POWER GRID CORPORATION OF INDIA LTD.” Payable at PATNA (preferably drawn on State Bank of India). Candidates should write their name and address at the reverse side of bank draft.
