425 Probationary/ Agriculture Officer in Oriental Bank of Commerce. Apply Online within 28/07/2012

Oriental Bank of Commerce is recruiting 425 boys and girls for the post of “Probationary Officers” and “Agriculture Officer”. Candidates who have appeared for Common Written Examination for PO/ MT in 2011 and Specialist Officers in March 2012, conducted by IBPS and is holding valid IBPS’s Score card were eligible to apply. Application form is to be submitted Online only from the bank’s website. Eligibility criteria and other norms in brief is given below—

PROBATIONARY/ AGRICULTURE OFFICER IN ORIENTAL BANK OF COMMERCE : 450 VACANCIES

Total No. of Posts: 425 Nos. (Gen—213, OBC—113; SC—63; ST—36). Out of them PH—18 Nos.

1. Probationary Officer (JMGS-I): 325 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in any discipline or equivalent.
Essential Requirement: Should have qualified Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainees in 2011 and have valid Score Card issued by IBPS.
Candidates must have met the above qualification on or before 01/07/2011

2. Agriculture Officer (JMGS-I): 100 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture /Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/Dairy Science/Agricultural Engineering/ Fishery Science/ Pissiculture / Agriculture Marketing Co-operation.
Desirable: Experience in respective field is desirable not compulsory.
Essential Requirement: Should have qualified Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS for Specialist Officer in March 2012 and have valid Score Card issued by IBPS.
Candidates must have met the above qualification on or before 01/12/2011

Computer Knowledge (for both posts): Candidates should have basic computer knowledge and knowledge in computer application such as MS Office. Candidates who do not have computer knowledge may also apply but in such cases they should have to complete the computer course within six months of joining the bank.

Pay Scale: Rs.14500—Rs.25700

Age limit: between 21years to 30yrs as on 1/7/2011. Age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs; Domicile of Kashmir—5yrs; PH—10yrs, Ex-Serviceman and others—as per norms.

Selection Steps: Candidates will be shortlisted on basis of performance in IBPS. The shortlisted candidates will be then called for Personal Interview which will be of 50 marks. For Total Weighted Score (TWS) marks, refer the advt.

Candidates will be on probation for 2 years from the date of joining the bank.

Application Fee: Application fee of Rs.100, for General and OBC candidates, (Rs.20 for Others) is to be deposited on any Bank through Fee Payment Challan/ NEFT. Candidates should print-out the Fee payment Challan only from the bank’s website.
Go to the nearest CBS Branch of the Bank with the Fee payment Challan and pay, in Cash, the appropriate Application Fee in CBS Account No.12371171000065 with Sector 32 Gurgaon Branch in the name & style of “OBC PROBATIONARY/AGRICULTURE OFFICERS’ RECRUITMENT PROJECT-2012”.

How to Apply: Apply Online. Go to the Bank’s (Oriental Bank of Commerce) website — www.obcindia.co.in and click on the link “Recruitment of Probationary/Agriculture Officers 2012”.

After depositing the Application fee, candidates can go for filling the online form. Fill all the details carefully and click the submit button to submit the form. Doing so will generate a system generated application with unique Registration No. as well as password. Note down it and print-out the system generated application in two copies. Retain those copies for future references.
There is no need to send the print-out application or any documents to the Bank. All the required documents in original and attested copies, Fee Challan, Application will be verified, if called, during Personal Interview.

Application fee can be paid from dated—10/07/ to 28/07/2012.
