1. HEAD MISTRESS IN WEST BENGAL EDUCATION SERVICE (WOMEN’S BRANCH)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (OBC A -01)
Educational Qualification: i) Second class Master degree of a recognized university or equivalent.
ii) First class Bachelor degree in teaching/education of a recognized university or equivalent.
iii) Familiarity with the latest developments in secondary education and Good knowledge of Bengali – spoken and written.
Experience: 10 years’ teaching experience in recognized secondary schools and capacity for developing corporate life and maintaining discipline in secondary schools.
Desirable: i) Post-graduate degree in Education
ii) Administrative experience.
Age Limit: Maximum- 45 years as on 01/01/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.15, 600 – Rs.42, 000 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5, 400/-

 

2. ENGLISH MASTER VICTORIA BOYS’ SCHOOL, KURSEONG IN WEST BENGAL GENERAL SERVICE
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (SC-01)
Educational Qualification: i) Second class Master’s Degree or Honours Degree in English.
ii) Degree in teaching or Education or equivalent.
iii) Teaching experience in English medium in secondary schools, preferably residential ones, relaxable for otherwise well-qualified candidates and Ability to teach in English medium.
Desirable: Ability to organize extra curricular activities such as performance of dramas, organization of literary meetings, educational excursions etc.
Knowledge of Bengali and Nepali- spoken and written.
Age Limit: Maximum- 36 years as on 01/01/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.15, 600 – Rs.42, 000 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5, 400/-

 

3. MATHEMATICS MASTER, VICTORIA BOYS’ SCHOOL, KURSEONG IN WEST BENGAL GENERAL SERVICE

Educational Qualification: i) Second class Master’s Degree or Honours Degree in Mathematics.
ii) Degree in teaching or Education or equivalent.
iii) Teaching experience in English medium in secondary schools, preferably residential ones, relaxable for otherwise well-qualified candidates and Ability to teach in English medium.

4. ART MISTRESS,  DOW HILL GIRLS’ SCHOOL, KURSEONG IN WEST BENGAL GENERAL SERVICE
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Degree or Diploma (5 year course) from a recognized school of Art or equivalent.
Experience: Three years’ teaching experience in a recognized Educational Institute, preferably in a School & Ability to teach in English medium.
Experience as a practicing artist.
Desirable: (i) Good Knowledge in Bengali and Nepali – spoken and written
(ii) Proficiency in crafts.
Age Limit: Maximum- 36 years as on 01/01/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.15, 600 – Rs.42, 000 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5, 400/-

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

Reserved categories belonging to state other than West Bengal will be treated as General candidates.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Screening Test/Written Test and Interview.

Candidates must have ability to read, write and speak in Bengali not applicable to those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali.
