DEPUTY DIRECTOR, ANIMAL RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT AND DEPUTY DIRECTOR, ANIMAL RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT & PARISHAD OFFICER IN WEST BENGAL HIGHER ANIMAL HUSBANDRY & VETERINARY SERVICE UNDER THE ANIMAL RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT, GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL
No. of Vacancies: 04 posts (SC-01, OBC -B -01, UR-02)
Educational Qualification: Master degree in Animal Husbandry or Bachelor degree.
Experience: Eight years experience.
Candidates must have knowledge of Bengali / Nepali and English – spoken and written.
Candidates having Degree or Diploma in Business Management are desirable.
Age Limit: Not more than 50 years on 01.01.2016.
Pay Scale: Rs.15, 600/- Rs.42, 000/- and Grade Pay Rs.6, 600/-

Educational Qualification: First class Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Educational Qualification: First class Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology.

iii) Mechanical Engineering: 23 posts (UR-10, SC-06, ST-02, OBC (A)-02, OBC (B)-02, PWD-B/LV-01)
Educational Qualification: First class Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

iv) Computer Science & Technology:14 post (UR-09, SC-03, OBC (A)-01, OBC (B)-01)
Educational Qualification: First class Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering or Technology.

v) Metallurgical Engineering:04 posts (UR-01, SC-02, OBC (B)-01)
Educational Qualification: First class Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering

vi) Food Processing Technology: 09 posts (UR-05, SC-01, ST-01, OBC (A)-01, OBC (B)-01)
Educational Qualification: First class Bachelor’s degree in Food Processing Engineering or Technology

vii) Architecture: 04 posts (UR-02, SC-01, OBC (B)-01)
Educational Qualification: First class Bachelor’s degree in Architecture

viii) Survey Engineering: 09 posts (UR-03, SC-02, OBC (A)-02, OBC (B)-01, PWD-B/LV-01)
Educational Qualification: First class Bachelor’s degree in Survey Engineering or in Architecture or Civil Engineering or Mining Engineering with Survey Engineering as elective or compulsory subject or its equivalent.

ix) Physics:12 posts (UR-07, SC-04, OBC (A)-01)
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Physics with first class or equivalent

x) Chemistry:08 posts (UR-05, SC-01, ST-01, OBC (A)-01)
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Chemistry with first class or equivalent.

xi) Mathematics:18 posts (UR-09, SC-04, ST-02, OBC (A)-01, OBC (B)-02)
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Mathematics with first class or equivalent

xii) Humanities: 09 posts (UR-05, SC-03, OBC (B)-01)
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Economics or English or Commerce with first class or equivalent

Age Limit (For Lecturers): Not more than 37 years as on 01.01.2016.
Pay Scale (For Lecturers): Rs.15, 600/- Rs.39, 100/- and Grade Pay Rs. 5, 400/-

Note: For the Post at Sl. No. ix, x, xi and xii. First class award shall be required either at Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree.

 

Candidates must have ability to read write and speak Bengali (not applicable for Nepali speaking people from Darjeeling district)

 

Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline):  Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Screening Test / Written Test and Interview.

Candidates willing to apply for more than one category of posts should submit separate Application along with requisite fees for each.
