SAIL — Bokaro Steel Plant is inviting Online application form for the 50 Nos. Posts of “Attendant – cum – Technician Trainee”. Eligible candidates may apply online from the official website of SAIL. ATTENDANT – CUM – TECHNICIAN TRAINEE (S1)
Number of vacancies: 50 nos. (Gen—26; SC—6; ST—13; OBC—5) Out of total 6 nos. is reserved for PH candidates.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass and must have passed All India Trade Test conducted by NCVT, Govt. of India after completing the stipulated period of training as Trade Apprentices in an Integrated steel plant.
Age limit: Maximum 28yrs as on 01.03.2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others- As per norms.
Physical Standards of the Candidates: —
For Male candidates: Height—155 cms; Weight – 45kgs (minimum), Chest (expanded/ unexpanded)—75cms/ 79cms, Vision – 6/9 with both eyes with or without glass in case of distant vision.
For Female candidates: Height—143cms; Weight – 35kgs; Chest (ex panded/un expanded): 70cms/ 75cms; Vision – 6/9 with both eyes with or without glass in case of distant vision.
Consolidated Pay –Rs. 8600/-pm during 1st year and Rs 10000/-pm during the 2nd year of training.
Training–Selected candidates shall undergo training for the period of two years which may be extendable by another two years as per requirement. On successful completion of training, they may be regularised as Attendant-cum-Technician in S-1 grade in the pay scale of Rs8630/-3 %-12080/-.
Selection shall be through Written test & Interview Schedule for the same shall be communicated later. Date time and venue for Written Test/Interview will be intimated to eligible shortlisted candidates through e- mail/SMS/SAIL.

Application fee: Rs.150/- for Gen/ OBC and other candidates (Rs.50 in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates). Candidates must pay Rs.20/- additionally as bank processing fee.
Application fee can be paid by means by fee payment challan through any branch of State Bank of India, in a specially opened account (SBI Power Jyoti A/c No.31877168126 maintained by at SBI sector 4, B.S.City branch), on behalf of SAIL/Bokaro Steel Plant. which can be downloaded from the SAIL’s website
After successful submission of Online application form; candidates must print-out the system generated application for records.
