Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, VIZAG Steel, Under the Ministry of Steel, is recruiting 5 Nos. Safety Engineers— “Manager (Safety)” and “Deputy Manager (Safety)”. Rectt Advt. No. 08/2012. Interested candidates may apply on prescribed application format. The eligibility norms in brief is given below—
1. Manager (Safety): 2 Nos. (General)
Pay scale: Rs.36600—Rs.62000; Grade—E-4
Age: within 42yrs as on 01/07/2012
2. Deputy Manager (Safety): 3 Nos. (Gen—2; OBC—1)
Pay scale: Rs.32900—Rs.58000. Grade—E-3
Age: within 39yrs as on 01/07/2012
Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech Degree (full time) in Mechanical / Electrical / Metallurgy / Chemical / Production Engineering with at least 60% marks And full time Postgraduate Degree / Diploma in Industrial Safety Engineering from a recognized Institutions.
OR
B.E. / B.Tech Degree (full time) in Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized Institution.
Post Qualification Experience: Minimum experience of 9 yrs for the post of Manager (Safety) and 6yrs for Deputy Manager (Safety).
Candidates must have fluent knowledge in English and Telugu language.
Selection steps: Selection of candidates will be through Interview which will be held at Visakhapatnam.
