Airports Authority of India, Southern Region, Chennai, is recruiting 22 boys and girls for the posts of “Senior Assistant (Electronics)” at various Airports in the following States in southern region — Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry and Lakshadweep Island. Eligible candidates may apply on the prescribed format. Eligibility criteria is given below—
1. Senior Assistant (Electronics): 22 Nos. (Gen—14; SC—02; ST—02; OBC—04)
Qualification: B.Sc OR Diploma in Electronics/ Telecommunication/ Radio Engineering of 3yrs from recognised Institutions.
Experience: 2yrs of experience in relevant field
N.B: Only candidates with above mentioned qualification residing in Southern Region’s of following State are eligible to apply for the post — Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry and Lakshadweep Island.
Age: within 30yrs as on 27/10/2012. Age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs and Others including ex-serviceman—as per norms.
Pay scale: Rs.14500—Rs.33550
Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Interview. Centre of examination will be following city — (i) Chennai, (ii) Trivandrum, (iii) Bangalore and (iv) Hyderabad.
How to Apply: Apply on prescribed application format which can be prepared on plain A4 size paper. Application form along with enclosures such as Qualification certificate, Age proof, Caste, experience certificate, Application Fee (D.D) and etc in support of eligibility should reach the below given address. All the documents should be in Attested copies. Enclose 2 Nos. passport size photographs (one copy pasted on form and other copy stapled with the form mentioning candidate’s name on the reverse.
Application Fee: Demand Draft of Rs.100 is to be prepared in favour of – “Airports Authority of India” and payable at – “Chennai”. Candidates should mention their name on the reverse of D.D.
SC/ST and Women candidates are not require to pay Application fee.
