Educational Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E /B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering) from AICTE Approved Engineering College. Equivalent degree or degree with specialization or electives
other than above educational qualification is not acceptable.
Selected candidates will be admitted for a Graduate Marine Engineers (GME) course at SCI’s Maritime Training Institute at Powai, Mumbai. The duration of course is 18 months and will comments from October 2017. The Candidates who will successfully complete the course will be absorbed as a Marine Engineer under Fleet Personal Department of The Shipping Corporation of India Limited.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01/10/2017.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through On-line Examination and Personnel Interview.
On-line examination will focus on MCQ’s on Quantitative Aptitude test, Professional Knowledge test, English Language test and Reasoning Ability test.
On-line examination will be held at Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, and Chennai only. On-line examination will be held on 09/09/2017.

One copy of the print-out must be retained by the candidate for future references and the other copy is to be send along with attested copies of testimonials (qualification certificate/mark sheet, age proof, caste certificate, experience certificate if applicable and etc), at the below given address so as to reach on or before 25.08.2017
