Trainee Electrical Officers / Electrical Officer: 50 posts
TRAINEE ELECTRICAL OFFICERS
Educational Qualification: i. Candidates with B.E/B.TECH/Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics, and in possession of DG approved ETO course certificate, without sailing experience.
ii. Must have completed all required STCW-2010 courses including STSDSD from DGS approved institutes.
iii. Must possess valid Indian CDC, Passport, Pan Card, and INDOS No.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs 15,000/- per month.
ELECTRICAL OFFICER
Educational Qualification: i). Minimum six months sailing experience as Electrical Officer on merchant navy vessels.
ii). (a) Retired Indian Navy personnel with B.E. /Diploma awarded by the Indian Navy, and has sailed as chief artificer (power side only , and is in possession of DG approved ETO course certificate.
OR (b) Candidates with B.E/B.TECH/Diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics, and in possession of DG approved ETO course, STCW 2010 courses, STSDSD/SSO course certificate from DGS approved institutes.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years and 45 years for Retired Indian Navy personnel.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.3164/- per day.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Document Verification/ Interview and Medical examination.
