Office of the Project Manager – Watershed Cell cum Data Centre (WCDC) of South 24 Parganas District is recruiting Technical Experts and WDT Members (Engineer/ Livelihood/ Social Welfare/ Micro Enterprise) on contractual basis for successful implementation of the Integrated Watershed Management Programme in the selected Watershed under WCDC, South 24 Parganas. RECRUITMENT OF WATERSHED DEVELOPMENT TEAM IN WCDC OF SOUTH 24 PARGANAS. LAST DATE – 29/08/2014
1. Technical Expert/ Technical Expert (Livelihood): 2 Nos.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in the field of Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry.
Desirable – Computer knowledge and two or three years experience in such field.
2. WDT (Engineering): 5 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering/ Agriculture Engineering/ Hydrology etc OR Diploma in Civil Engineering with 3 years experience.
Desirable—Computer knowledge and experience in such programmes/project is desirable.
3. WDT (Livelihood) : 5 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate in Agriculture/ Forestry/ Plant Science/ Animal Science
Desirable— Computer knowledge and experience in such programmes/project is desirable.
4. WDT (Social Welfare): 2 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in Rural Development/ Social Welfare/ Social Science/ Agriculture Economics
Desirable— Computer knowledge and experience in such programmes/project is desirable.
5. WDT (Micro-Enterprise): 5 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate in Commerce/ Economics/ Rural Management
Desirable— Computer knowledge and experience in such programmes/project is desirable.
Monthly Remuneration:
Rs.25000/- per month consolidated pay for the post of Technical Expert/ Technical Expert (Livelihood) and Rs.10000/- per month for all the posts of WDT Members.
Age Limit: Maximum 65 years

Candidates applying for the rest of vacancies, i.e. WDT (Engineering/Livelihood/ Social Welfare/ Micro Enterprise), shall drop their duly filled Bio-Data on prescribed format along with attested copies of testimonials in support of eligibility, in a sealed envelope at the Drop-Box situated at the Office of the Project Implementing Agency. On the basis of application, the eligible candidates will be then called for Interview.
