High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh is recruiting 20 candidates for the post of “Stenographer”. Bachelor degree candidates with ability of dictating and typing may apply for the post. Details below—

Vacancies: 20 Nos. (Gen-16, SC/ST/BC-2, Ex-serviceman-1, PH-1)


Qualification: Bachelor Degree in any discipline from recognised university and profiency in operation of computers (such as Word, processing and Spread sheets). Candidates should have ability to take down dictation at the speed of 100 words per minute in English Shorthand and 20 words per minute in computer while transcribing the same.

Age limit: Candidates should be minimum 21yrs old and maximum 30yrs old as on 22/3/2012.  Age relaxation is as per norms.

Salary: Rs.10300-34800, Grade pay Rs.4400/

How to apply: Application form can be prepared as per given format on plain paper. Along with application candidates should send a Demand Draft of Rs.250 (Rs.125 for reserved categories) as Application fee. DD should be favour of—The Registrar General, Punjab & Haryana High Court, and payable at- Chandigarh.
Along with application form, enclosed all the required documents in attested copies, such as—Qualification certificate, Age proof, Caste and etc along with 2 copy passport size attested photograph (1 copy pasted on application form and other as enclosure).

High Court of Punjab and Haryana is recruiting 304 Stenographer Grade-III for Subordinate Court of State of Punjab and Haryana.

High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh—In the State of Punjab and Haryana for the various Session Divisions (Subordinate Court) is recruiting 304 persons for the post of “Stenographer Grade-III”. Degree completed candidates may apply for the post—

Required Qualification: Degree course in Arts or in Science stream with ability to inscribe minimum 80 words per minute in English Shorthand and 20 words per minute in Computer typing may apply for the post.
Candidates should have good skill in computer application such as MS Word, Spread sheet and etc.

Age limit: Candidates should be within 18yrs to 37 yrs as on 1-1-2011. Age relaxation is only for SC/ST/OBC candidates residing in the state of Punjab or Haryana. Candidates from West Bengal or from other states may apply as General candidates only.

Selection Process: For selection of candidates first there will be Shorthand test and then Computer Typing test in English. Finally Computer skill test and Interview.

At first candidates should do part-I registration. After submitting the part-I registration form a system generated Registration ID and Password will appear. Through this password candidates should make print-out of “Pay-in-NEFT Slip”.
