Vijaya Bank, a govt. of India Undertaking, is recruiting 894 persons for the posts of “Probationary Assistant Manager” in JMG Scale-I. Candidates who have appeared and qualified the Common Written Examination (CWE) for Probationary Officers and Management Trainee- 2011-12 conducted by IBPS and may have valid Score Card issued by IBPS may apply for the post of Probationary Assistant Manager in Officers Cadre through Online system from the website of Vijaya Bank. Brief details below—

1. Probationary Assistant Manager (Post Code—01), JMG Scale-I

No. of vacancies: 894 Nos. (General- 349; SC- 147; ST-125, OBC-273). Out of total; 48 Nos. for PWD candidates.

Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University and must have valid Score Card issued by IBPS.
IBPS CWE-PO/MT 2011-12 – Total Weighted Standard (TWS) Score As mentioned in IBPS Score Card: —
For General category—138 & above
For SC/ST/OBC/PWD—113 & above.
IBPS Score cut-off in each individual subjects:—
For General candidates—24 & above
For SC/ST/OBC/PWD—21 & above.

Pay Scale: Rs.14500—Rs.25700

Age limit: Minimum 20yrs and Maximum 30yrs as on 16/5/2012. Age relaxation for OBC candidates—3yrs; SC/ST candidates—5yrs; PWD (General) candidates—10yrs; Domicile of Kashmir and the family members of those who died in the 1984 riots—5yrs. Ex-Serviceman and Others—as per norms.

Selection Steps: Shortlist of candidates will be prepared on basis of performance in CWE examination conducted by IBPS. The shortlisted candidates will be then called for Group Discussion and Interview. for details, refer the official website of Vijaya Bank (web address given below).
The call letters for Group discussion/ Interview will be available on the bank’s website at later stage. The date and venue will be informed later. Candidates after submitting application form should regularly visit the bank’s website for any new announcement and for status of their application.
Job will be on probation for first 2 years of beginning.

How to Apply: Application can be made only through Online system which can be done from the official website of Vijaya Bank — http://www.vijayabank.com. In the homepage there is a link “Recruitment Notification” scrolling in the “Announcement” column.
Before making the online application; print-out the Fee Payment Challan in triplicate from the bank’s website and the deposit the prescribed Application fee.
Application Fee: Deposit Rs.200 (Rs.50 for SC/ST and PWD candidates only) by Fee Challan from any branch of Vijaya Bank. Deposit the cash in Account No. 900900022503006 towards “VIJAYA BANK REC_PROJ 2012-13 Scale-I”.

After deposing the Application fee revisit the Bank’s website and proceed for online application. After successful submission of Online application form; a system generated application form will appear with Unique Registration No. Print-out this system generated application form for further references (paste a passport size photograph on it and signed at the space provide). Candidates should write the generated Registration No. of the back side of the Payment Challan.

During Registration candidates should mention their own valid email. All correspondence will be made through email only.
N.B: There is no need to send any documents or Application form by post to the bank’s address. All the required documents and testimonials in original and Fee challan will need to produce during Interview only, if called. Last Date: Online Application can be made on and within 2nd June 2012. Application fee should be deposited within 30th May 2012. Read the complete Advt. from the bank’s website before applying for the post.
