Vijaya Bank requires 800 Probationary Clerks (Recruitment Notification No. 02/2012 — Recruitment of Probationary Clerks—Project 2012-13). Candidates who have qualified the Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in the year of 2011 for the recruitment purpose of Clerk may apply for the post. Candidates must have valid IBPS Score’s card issued by IBPS. Eligibility norms and Qualification criteria is given below—

1. Probationary Clerk: 800 Nos. (Gen—333; SC—210; ST—149; OBC—108). Out of them 106nos. PWD candidates and 116 Nos. Ex-Serviceman.

Reservation for SC/ST/OBC in State/UT wise vacancies is as per norms. Refer the Advt.

Qualification (as on 01/08/2011): Madhyamik pass with 60% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Serv.)
OR 
Higher Secondary pass with 50% marks (pass marks in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD/ Ex-Serv.)
OR
Degree in any discipline from recognised University/ Institutions.

Essential Requirement: Candidates must have qualified CWE examination conducted by IBPS in 2011 for Probationary Clerk purposes and must have valid Score Card.
Vacancies were in State/ UT wise therefore candidates should apply only for that State/ UT for which he/she appeared for IBPS examination. Candidates should have knowledge of local language of that particular State/UT for which he/she is applying.

Age Limits: between 18yrs to 28yrs as on 01/08/2011. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs; PWD—10yrs and others—as per norms.

Pay Scale: 7200—Rs.19300 + allowances as per norms.

On basis of performance in CWE a shortlist will be prepared. The shortlisted candidates will be then called for Interview.

Application Fee: Fee of Rs.100 (Rs.20 for SC/ST/PWD) is to be deposited by Fee Payment Challan through any branch of Vijaya Bank in the following a/c no. — 900900022503007 towards “VIJAYABANKRECPROJ(PROB CLERK) 2012-13”. Candidates should print-out the fee payment challan from the bank’s website.

After successful submission of online application form; print-out the system generated application and retain safely for later use.
The date and venue of the interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates through email as well as notification will be given on the bank’s site. Candidates should not send any documents/ application by post to the bank.
