JUNIOR EXECUTIVE (FINANCE)

Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and Inter CA/ ICWA
Pay Band: Rs.9,300/- — Rs.34,800/- and Grade Pay: Rs.4700/- per month plus other allowances as per norms.
OFFICE EXECUTIVE
Number of Vacancies: 246 Nos. [Gen—98; SC—45; ST—17; OBC-A—21; OBC-B—15; PH(VI)—19; PH(HI)—18; PH(OC)—2; Ex-Servicemen—11].
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate OR Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in HS level
AND
Certificate course in Computer from NIELIT/ DOEACC OR 01 year certificate/diploma course in computer application from any institute recognized by WBSCTE OR have done Secretarial Practices OR Class 12 in Vocational stream covering subjects on Computer and IT OR have done Bachelor’s of Computer Application (BCA)/ BBA/ B.Sc (Honours) with Statistics OR shall have studied computer as a pass subject at Degree level and have obtained 50% marks in aggregate OR shall have studied computer as a pass subject at Degree level and have obtained 50% in aggregate in Higher Secondary.

Pay Band: Rs.6,300—20,200 and Grade Pay: Rs.3,600/- plus other allowances as per norms.
Note: Candidates who obtained the above said qualification from Open University / Private University / Distance Learning Mode / Part Time / Sandwich Course, are not eligible to apply for the vacancies.
Candidates having adequate knowledge in communicating in Bengali / Nepali language are preferred.
Age Limit: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 27yrs as on 01-01-2014. Upper age relaxation is 3 Years for OBC (A) & OBC (B) and 5 Years for SC & ST candidates of West Bengal only. For Ex-Serviceman – as per Govt. norms.
SC/ST, OBC candidates from State other than West Bengal shall apply as Unreserved/General candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the Written Test, Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) and Interview.
The Written Test will cover the tests for General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Reasoning, General English and Arithmetic, apart from tests of knowledge in the respective professional subjects/areas. The Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) will cover MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point. Candidates applying for the post of Jr. Executive (Finance) will have to undergo one Descriptive type test.
The Written test/CPT and Interview will be held in KOLKATA only. Tentative date of Written Examination is 22.02.2015.

You need 50% marks in Graduation or 50% in H.S. There is no cut-off in marks in case of OBC candidates. So you are not eligible to apply.

Your distance education (BA English) will not be valid, but since you have H.S with 50% marks and O level Computer course from DOEACC so YES you are eligible to apply for Office Executive.
