The West Bengal State Cooperative Bank is recruiting 45 boys and girls for the post of “Clerical Staff” and “Staff Officer”. Graduate Boys/Girls may apply for the post. Details below—
Clerical Cadre: 35 Nos. (Gen-19, OBC-6, SC-8, ST-2). Serial No.4.
Qualification: Higher Secondary candidates with 50% marks and have done Degree in any discipline from recognised Institute/University and may have done Computer Application or Information Technology diploma course from any recognised Institutes may apply for the post.
Salary: Rs.7200 to Rs.19300. Beginning salary—Rs.14000/-
Staff Officer: 08 Nos. (General). Serial No.1
Qualification: Higher Secondary candidates with 55% marks and have done Degree in any discipline from recognized Institute/University and may have done Computer Application or Information Technology degree course from any recognised Institutes may apply for the post.
Salary: Rs.14500 to Rs.28100. Beginning salary—Rs.25000/-
Staff Officer (Agriculture): 1 Nos. (Gen). Serial No.2
Qualification: Higher Secondary Pass with 55% marks in aggregate and then B.Sc (Agri) course pass as well as Degree in Computer Application/ Information Technology may apply for the post.
Salary is same as above post.
Staff Officer (Law): 1 Nos. (Gen). Serial No.3
Qualification: Higher Secondary candidates with 55% marks and then Degree in Law as well as Degree in Computer Application/Information Technology may apply for the post.
Salary is same as above post.
Age limits: For all the above mentioned posts, candidates should be within 40yrs of age (for Serial No.1,2,3) and 35yrs (for Serial No.4) as on 1-1-2012. Age relaxation is as per norms.
N.B.: For all posts and in all cases candidates should have read Bengali as First or Second Language in their Madhyamik and Higher Secondary or its equivalent level exam.
Candidates’ Selection: Candidates will be selected by West Bengal Co-Operative Service Commission. Written Test will be at Kolkata and venue of interview will be informed later.

Along with application form, enclose the following—
- Age, Qualification, Caste and Computer Certificate in Attested copies.
- One self signed passport size photograph pasted on application form.
- Postal Order of Rs.160 (Rs.40 if SC/ST candidates) in favour of—“Co-Operative Service Commission, W.B”.
If any candidate wills to appear for more than one post then send each application separately. In the application form, column 1b, write Advt.No.01/2012.
On the top of the application containing envelope subscribe the name of the post in capital letters.
