WEST BENGAL HEALTH RECRUITMENT BOARD INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 3135 POSTS OF GENERAL DUTY MEDICAL OFFICER. LAST DATE — 23.12.2015
1. General Duty Medical Officer: 3135 Nos. (UN-1463,SC-745,ST-222 OBC A-358,OBC B-250, PWD-96)
Educational Qualification:
i)Medical qualifications included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and
ii) Registration as Medical Practitioner in West Bengal.
iii) Candidates should have the ability to read write and speak in Bengali not required in the case of Nepali speaking candidates of the three Hills sub-division of Darjeeling District- viz. Darjeeling sadar, Kalingpong & Kurseong
iv) One Year’s practical training as House Staff in any Govt. Hospital or other recognized Institution.
Age Limit: 32 years as on 01/01/2015. Upper Age Relaxation: ST/SC -5 years, OBC A-3 years for the candidates of West Bengal and 45 years for PWD.
Pay Scale: Rs-14000/- Rs-42000 and Grade Pay Rs-5400/- plus Other allowances as per Govt norms
Candidates’ Selection: All information regarding selection/ recruitment (date of examination, date of interview etc.) to the post will be available, time to time in the Board Website at – www.wbhrb.in
