Educational Qualification:
i) Recognized Medical qualification and registration as Medical practitioner with the State Medical Council of West Bengal.
ii) Candidate should be able to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required in case of candidates of Nepali speaking candidates of the hill areas of Darjeeling district).
Desirable: Any Recognized Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Management and Hospital Administration.
Age Limit: Maximum 36 years for Ordinary Graduates and 40 years for Post Graduate candidates as on 01.01.2018
Pay Scale: Rs.15,600- 42,000/- with Grade pay Rs.5,400/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/PH and 03 years for OBC category candidates of West Bengal.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Personality Test/ Interview.
