Bihar State Power (Holding) Company Limited (BSPHCL) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 2050 posts of Assistant Operator, Switch Board Operator- II, Junior Line Man and Technician Grade- IV, for for Head Offices and Field Offices of its subsidiary companies viz.- North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (NBPDCL), South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (SBPDCL) and Bihar State Power Transmission Company Limited (BSPTCL). NAME OF THE POSTS AND VACANCIES:

1. Assistant Operator: 300 posts (UR-150, SC-48, ST-03, EBC-54, BC-36, Female (BC)-09)
2. Switch Board Operator – II: 1000 posts (UR-500, SC-160, ST-10, EBC-180, BC-120, Female (BC)-30)
3. Junior Line Man: 500 posts (UR-250, SC-80, ST-05, EBC-90, BC-60, Female (BC)-15)
4. Technician Grade- IV: 250 posts (UR-125, SC-40, ST-03, EBC-45, BC-30, Female (BC)-07)

 

Educational Qualification:

i) Must have passed matriculation or its equivalent from recognized institution.
ii) Must have ITI Certificate in Electrician Trade from any recognized Institution.

 

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years as on 01/08/2018.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.9,200-15,500/-

 

The vacancies are for Head Offices and Field Offices of North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (NBPDCL), South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (SBPDCL) and Bihar State Power Transmission Company Limited (BSPTCL).

The selected candidates will be on Probation for a period of two years.

Reserved Category candidates from the states other than Bihar shall be treated as General Candidates.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for EBC/BC and 10 years for PWD category.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Computer Based Test (CBT). The Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted during Last week of October 2018.
