PROBATIONARY OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 417 Nos. (GEN-212, SC-62, ST-31, OBC-112. Out of the total posts, 16 posts are reserved for PWD candidates)
Educational Qualification: Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification.
Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 30 years as on 01.08.2018.
The selected candidates will go through Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) course at Indian Bank Manipal School of Banking (IBMSB) for a period of One year. On successful completion of the course candidates will be appointed as Probationary officers in Indian Bank.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Online Examination (Preliminary & Main Examination) and Interview. The Preliminary examination and Main examination is likely to be held on 06.10.2018 & 04.11.2018 respectively. The examination will be conducted in various centres across India.
